NetBeans in Education

This is the home of NetBeans in Education Community. The main goal of the community is to bring together people dealing with teaching Java, Computer Science or just interested in new ways of using the internet in the classroom.

Get Set Up
	NetBeans IDE 6.1 is out. The Java SE installer is perfect for introductory Java classes. It comes in at a slim 25 megabytes and only contains the basics needed to get started learning Java SE and Swing programming. For classes on web applications and Java EE programming, get the Web and Java EE installer, with bundled Tomcat and Glassfish servers. Looking for an even simpler interface to teach total beginners?
